In 7th grade there was a specific day and time the world was supposed to end. Everyone talked about wearing their best clothes so that they would be dressed cute when the people of the future found them (7th grader priorities!) I still remember going to the class after the world was supposed to end... and it's been like that for the 13 other times the world was supposed to end. Happily life keeps going on. Love your posts.
